What's actually on the cards?
Every card is illustrated and grouped into a deck. Tap a picture with the dinosaur and it names it out loud. Tap the line along the bottom and it reads a whole sentence, so your child hears the word used rather than just labelled.
That's the difference between this and a stack of word cards — and it's why the same set still works a year later.
What age is this really for?
The maker recommends 3 and up. Early on they tap and listen, matching the picture to the sound. As reading comes, the sentence along the bottom of each card is waiting for them — so the same set gets used differently at three and at six.
How do the stickers work?
That's the part that makes it stick. Peel a sticker onto a real object — the fridge, a cup, the front door — and when your child taps it with the dinosaur, it says the word out loud. Learning stops being a sit-down activity and becomes something that happens while they wander the house.
Does my child need me sitting with them?
No, and that's the point. The reader does the reading. Hand it over and they can work through a deck on their own, which is the whole difference between a learning toy and a learning chore.
Is it loud?
You choose. It has three volume settings — soft, medium and loud. Loud enough to hear across a room when they're playing, quiet enough to survive a car journey.
